If you like my website, and/or if you've found it useful, please consider making a small donation to my Just Giving page, which I've set up just for this purpose. To begin with I'm collecting for a charity whose work I have benefitted from myself (and continue to do so): the British Heart Foundation. It would be great to raise £100 in the first month.
If you have already donated ... Thank You!
A simple search on Google will find any number of sites from which you can download quiz questions.
Here are some that I've looked at in the past. Enter at your own risk!
Quiz Zone – 7719 questions on my last visit, classified by subject, month added, difficulty and quality (I dunno ...)
Quiz For Free – "The UK's number 1 FREE QUIZ SITE, where you can copy & paste thousands of questions and answers – absolutely FREE!"
The following have been endorsed by Barry from Eggheads, no less, either personally or on air:
Quiz Revision Notes – notes and quizzes on a wide variety of subjects.
Collegiate Quizbowl Packet Archive and High School Quizbowl Packet Archive – the successors to the Stanford Packet Archive, which was named by Barry as "the best quiz source on the Net" (I'm quoting from memory). These are in an idiosyncratic format – and they are quite hard, to say the least.
And finally:
Macclesfield Quiz League – our sister site (you may notice the similarities in design!) – including questions from the 2017–18 season.
Nick's Quiz archive – the Internet home of MQL questions for about 10 years prior to 2017.
As stated elsewhere on this site, MQL has always been the Quiz Monkey's principal source of questions.
See also Nick's home page for one man's personal commentary on MQL.
